Your booking is confirmed once the required deposit of 75% has been received, unless stated otherwise. For last-minute bookings, full payment is required immediately.

Yes. Bank fees, credit card charges, currency conversion differences and other transaction-related costs are imposed by financial institutions and are fully borne by the traveler.

In some cases, transaction-related costs are applied after payment has been processed. These costs may be invoiced separately if incurred.
6. What happens if I cancel my booking?
Cancellation fees depend on how many days before departure you cancel. Please refer to our General Terms & Conditions for the exact percentages.
7. What if Unlimited Suriname Tours cancels a tour?
If a tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns or insufficient participants, we will offer an alternative or refund paid amounts where applicable, excluding non-refundable third-party costs.
8. Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. This should include medical coverage, cancellation insurance and personal liability.
9. Are tours always guaranteed to depart and What if the weather is bad?
Some tours require a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not met, the tour may be rescheduled or cancelled.
Tours in Suriname operate in natural environments. Weather-related changes do not automatically entitle guests to refunds. Safety decisions are made on-site.
10. What activities involve increased risk and is swimming allowed during tours?
Activities such as swimming, boat transport, jungle hikes, domestic flights and helicopter flights involve inherent risks and are undertaken at the traveler’s own responsibility.
