Your adventure starts in the morning at our office in Paramaribo with a short introduction over coffee. Soon after, we head south, passing the historic Suralco bauxite factory and several indigenous villages, until we reach Powakka.
From the locals there, you’ll taste and try local specialties such as cassava and homemade indigenous beer. With a belly full of fresh cassava bread, we continue our journey deeper into the interior, where Seliba awaits.
Time for a luxurious camping adventure. At Seliba, everything is possible, but nothing is mandatory. Cool off in the pool, try stand-up paddling on the river, or simply relax in a hammock.
Seliba by night! At night we’d love to take you into the jungle for a hike. Together with your guide, you’ll try to spot nocturnal animals. The jungle is teeming with colorful frogs, hissing snakes, and much more. Afterward, it’s time to enjoy the crackling campfire, chill in the hot tub, or enjoy a fun game night in the cozy lounge.
Wake up to the jungle symphony of howler monkeys and birds. Seliba is a birdwatcher’s paradise where you can spot toucans, hummingbirds, and countless species. After your morning coffee, join your guide for a sunrise paddle on the river or a birdwatching walk through the forest.
The rest of the day is yours. Swim, paddle, relax, or just enjoy the tranquility of the rainforest. In the evening, head out again for a short jungle stroll, discovering how alive the forest becomes at dusk.
