The tour begins with an early morning departure from Paramaribo. After a scenic drive of approximately four hours, you’ll arrive at the base camp, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim and a hearty lunch. In the afternoon, the jungle adventure begins with a guided hike through pristine rainforest, lasting about three to four hours. The trail offers a true taste of the wild, challenging yet deeply rewarding. Just before sunset, you’ll arrive at the summit of Fredberg, the perfect spot to unwind, take in breathtaking views, and experience a magical night under the stars. Your overnight stay will be in a hammock on the mountaintop, surrounded by nature’s serenity.
As dawn breaks, you’ll wake up to a stunning sunrise view from the top of Fredberg. After breakfast prepared by the guide, you’ll explore the surrounding jungle and learn about native flora and fauna. Along the way, you might spot monkeys, colorful birds, and rare insects.
