The tour departs from Paramaribo at 9:00 AM. Upon arrival at Jodensavanne, you’ll begin a guided tour of the site, including a visit to the historic ruins of the Beracha ve Shalom synagogue, one of the oldest in the Americas. The guide will provide detailed insights into the history of the Jewish community that settled here in the 17th century. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore nearby old plantations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the area’s historical significance. The tour concludes with a return to Paramaribo in the afternoon
